Cost of college was unchanged for all students at New College of Florida

In-state tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at New College of Florida, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Florida residents paid $6,916 to attend the four-year public institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Non-residents paid 333 percent more than residents this year, or $29,944. Their price tag was unchanged from $29,944 in 2017-18.

About 77 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Florida residents. About 19 percent are residents of other states and 3 percent are citizens of other countries.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 198 students received grants or scholarships totaling $2.2 million and 65 students took out student loans totaling more than $359,334.

Including all undergraduates (837), 811 students used grants or scholarships totaling $8.5 million, and 265 students took out $1.4 million in federal student loans.
